was watching What Women Want ... Really on CNA just now . this time it was on Tai-Tai's in Singapore .
& yes you are right , it caught my attention totally . (: its not the usual stereotypical singaporeans tatitai that they are talking about . but rather the
working taitai . YES
working taitai . somehow working taitai is such an
oxymoron .
but these working taitai are brilliant okay . the jobs are top notch & yes they do run errands like many others & do not stick to one job . in other words they multi-task . & what was amazing was rushing after work to go for hightea & dinner . this extreme makeover & ability to change mentally & physically was such an eye opener . & yes they pay this make up artist 350 bucks per hour to doll themselves up for special occasions (:
& these working taitai are family women . yes be impressed cos i was . & so was diana serr . & it seems being a taitai runs in a family . (: they have parents & aunts who are no longer mediocre taitai & are the ones they look up to & heed advices from .
okay my point here is that .. its amazing to know that these people arent actually what we think they are . (: there is more to it .. & they dont do activities as expected nor idle their life away .. live life with a mission & passion .
& oh i am having a time of my life conversation with shida . she is now my MS MACHO (:
